Adding videos to Count On Me forms

All Count On Me forms can display videos that supporters can watch to learn more about your candidate or cause. Here is how to add a video to your forms:

  1. Upload your video to a platform like YouTube, make it publicly accessible, then copy the URL

  2. Paste this markdown syntax into the form Description

    [![Alt Text](ThumbnailURL)](VideoURL)

Alt text = Short description of the video. It is read aloud by screen readers for users with visual impairments and serves as a placeholder if the video fails to load.

ThumbnailURL = Optional. The thumbnail image you want to use in lieu of the video preview rendered by the hosting platform. You can leave as ThumbnailURL.

VideoURL = The URL for your video.

  1. Preview your form to make sure everything looks as expected

  2. Publish and Share your form!
