T-Mobile Daily Sending Caps
Last updated: October 15, 2026
T-Mobile’s 10DLC daily cap limits how many messages an organization can send to T-Mobile users each day. The cap is shared across all of an organization’s 10DLC texting programs registered under the same EIN. Users can encounter this cap for organizations that are not 527s.
Background
All brands must complete identity verification during 10DLC registration. 527 organizations like campaigns, political committees, and PACs are required to be verified through Campaign Verify before registration which helps them avoid T-Mobile daily caps on political sending.
Non 527 organizations have to undergo additional vetting when the Switchboard team completes their 10DLC registration. The resulting vetting score helps determine the organization’s sending tier: higher scores generally qualify for higher T-Mobile daily caps. Other carriers do not have daily volumetric caps.
To help avoid registration issues, ensure that the legal business name, EIN, and address that you provide on your Switchboard Registration Form are accurate. For 501(c) organizations, Switchboard also requires supporting documentation, such as an IRS Non-Profit Determination Letter, group exemption, or Form 8976. These documents may support a review or appeal of a low vetting score.
What This Means For Your Sending
The T-Mobile daily cap ranges from 2,000 per day on the low end to 200,000 per day on the high end. The caps apply only to T-Mobile and mobile providers that use its network. It does not apply to messages sent to supporters on other carrier networks and it resets at midnight PT daily.
When you reach your cap, Switchboard places your remaining T-Mobile messages on hold until the cap resets. You can choose to send to the rest of your T-Mobile numbers on Toll Free or wait until after the cap resets overnight to attempt them on 10DLC.
If you’re unsure of your daily cap or need help with held messages, you can contact the Switchboard team at support@oneswitchboard.com for assistance.
